Every NFL game carries equal value over the course of an entire season, Carolina Panthers included. Sure, there are divisional rivalries that factor into the standings because teams play one another twice and one participant is guaranteed a loss or potential tie at the very least but it still counts as a single win, loss or tie.
Games occurring late in the year may have more meaning with playoff berths or seeding on the line but the value remains equal – a win, loss or tie. Teams can rally, some have won 14 straight including Carolina during the 2015 regular season, but a bad start hurts the playoff chances for everyone.
