The Panthers have made their corresponding moves to get the roster back to 53 players after picking up quarterback Brad Kaaya and safety Demetrious Cox off the waiver wire this afternoon.
Fullback Alex Armah has been waived, and cornerback Corn Elder has been placed on injured reserve.
The move to cut Armah is surprising as it leaves the Panthers without a fullback on the roster for the first time in quite a while. It’s possible they could try to bring Armah back at a later date when they finally make a decision on which placekicker to keep on the roster, but for now they’ll go without one.
