The Panthers' first unofficial depth chart contains no surprises, and that's a good thing.
Coming off a 15-1 regular season and an NFC Championship, stability on the depth chart is a positive. The depth chart was released in advance of Thursday's preseason opener at the Baltimore Ravens and is “unofficial,” meaning it is very much subject to change based on what happens through the rest of training camp and during the four preseason contests.
With that in mind, here are some notes of interest:
- No surprises on the first and second teams on offense, though it is nice to see wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin back and listed on the first team.
