Looking at the position groupings the mock drafters are still focused on pegging wide receivers and cornerbacks for the Panthers. I would agree both of those positions are needs for the Panthers. The problem is the value at #24 in the first round isn’t always a match. I do agree this is the most likely position for the Panthers to pick in the 1st round.
I think anyone picking an OG for the Panthers is simply playing the ‘they lost a value free agent so they need to replace him’ game. It just doesn’t work that way though I will say the two guards being mocked to the Panthers are actually value picks.
