Christian McCaffrey was rewarded for his exceptional first three seasons as a professional with a four-year extension worth $64 million. This also included a $21 million signing bonus and just over $38 million guaranteed.
This officially makes him the face of the franchise after some key departures such as Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly this offseason. This will raise expectations even further for the player to extend what has been a memorable professional career so far.
