Panthers make roster moves

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Panthers waived/injured defensive tackle Chas Alecxih and wide receiver Tobais Palmer on Tuesday and signed defensive end Tom Lally, a rookie who participated as an invited tryout in the team's rookie minicamp back in May.

Alecxih suffered a knee injury in practice Sunday. He ranked among the most senior players at the team's rookie minicamp and was in position to push for a spot on the 53-man roster this season after spending all of last year on the practice squad.

Palmer began training camp on the physically unable to perform list with an Achilles injury.
