Having starters return on both the offensive and defensive line is a strong suit of the 2016 Carolina Panthers. However, following those starters are untested backups that have yet to display an ability to be as dominant. The Panthers line depth along the interior of the defense may be the best in the league. It remains unquestioned with the signing of free agent, Paul Soliai and first-round pick, Vernon Butler, but that depth depreciates as you move from the center.
Likewise, the offensive line depth depreciates as you stray from the football. Currently, left tackle Michael Oher is being backed up by David Foucault.
