One of the more endearing events within the NFL Draft is the League’s use of former team greats to announce certain picks on day two. The tradition continues this year, and Muhsin Muhammad has been tabbed as the Panthers Legend to make the trip to Detroit. Originally scheduled to announce the 33rd overall pick, Muhammad will likely announce pick 39 to go along with pick 65 (assuming the Panthers do not trade those picks as well). Muhammad played for the Panthers from 1996 to 2004, then again from 2008 to 2009 after a stint with the Chicago Bears.
