The Carolina Panthers would take Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith and center/guard Landon Dickerson in April’s upcoming NFL draft according to Mel Kiper’s newest two-round mock.
Here’s what Kiper said about Carolina’s No. 8 overall pick, the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Smith.

My appreciation for Sam Darnold’s potential is well-documented at this point, so I don’t see Carolina taking a quarterback here after trading for the former Jets starter.
