According to the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers are gauging trade interest in veteran P Andy Lee and rookie K Harrison Butker.
Lee is competing with Michael Palardy for the team’s punting job and opened training camp as the favorite. However, it appears as though the Panthers are comfortable enough with Palardy that they’re willing to see what’s available for Lee in the trade market.
Butker has been competing with veteran K Graham Gano this summer.
Lee, 35, is a former sixth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2004.
