Things went relatively according to plan for the Carolina Panthers in the 2020 NFL Draft. They filled areas of real need on defense and their prospects look a lot brighter as a result.
It proved to be a historic draft from the Panthers’ perspective. This was the first time in NFL history that a team had used all of their allocated picks on defense and represented a real statement of intent from Carolina’s front office.
General manager Marty Hurney stated it was not their intention to utilize every selection to improve their defense.
