The Carolina Panthers announced the release of eight players on Saturday including veteran OT Tony Hills.
The Panthers also parted ways with WR Paul Browning, WR Avius Capers, DE Steve Miller, LB Kevin Reddick, TE Dallas Walker, FB Lee Ward and P Matt Wile.
Hills, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2008.
