Charlotte, N.C. — Carolina Panthers second-year cornerback James Bradberry suffered a broken left wrist during OTA practice Monday in Charlotte, according to the team’s official website.
The injury occurred after the cornerback dove for a ball near the sideline on Monday. Bradberry’s wrist was examined and taped by head athletic trainer Ryan Vermillion before being carted off the field.
Bradberry will be in a cast for six weeks, according to Vermillion.
“He fractured the left radius,” Vermillion told the website. “We took him over to Dr. Pat Connor, and he’ll be in a cast for six weeks.
