A recent visit to a Spartanburg’s TJC Gallery did more than reveal the captains for the upcoming 2016 season, it impacted each of the players and coaches in attendance. The afternoon served as both a bonding and learning experience in preparation for the season ahead.
Dr. Leo Twiggs’, “Requiem for Mother Emanuel” is a series of nine pieces of art formed following the Charleston shootings at Emanuel AME Church on June 17th of last year.
Originally the idea of Panthers’ President Danny Morrison and Communications Director Steven Drummond, Coach Rivera first attended the display prior to bringing the captains.
