The Carolina Panthers have struggled to field a competent offensive line for many years now, especially when it comes to finding tackles. They aren’t alone in that struggle, as most of the league is looking to make upgrades there and the talent pool just isn’t able to match up. Add into that fact that most of the promising young big men are trending to follow the path of the pass rusher, and it makes it even more important that a team possessing security at either tackle spot needs to lock it down long term.
That’s why it’s crazy to me that we have entered training camp (such as it is) and Taylor Moton doesn’t have a new deal yet.
