The Carolina Panthers have a few key players out today against the Houston Texans. Quarterback Cam Newton (foot) and right guard Trai Turner (ankle) were ruled out earlier in the week. Cornerback Donte Jackson (groin) and defensive tackle Kawann Short (shoulder) have also been ruled out for today’s game.
The Texans are missing an offensive tackle and two tight ends today, so hopefully that gives the pass rush a slight advantage when trying to pressure Deshaun Watson. Even so, the Panthers are going to have to use their depth to get them through this one.
