Due to the weather and the fact that they play in two days, the Panthers had a glorified walkthrough at practice today. Wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee) and center Ryan Kalil (ankle) did not participate in today’s practice session, so their status for Thursday night in Pittsburgh is definitely up in the air right now.
Linebacker Shaq Thompson and safety Eric Reid worked out on the sidelines, so hopefully that’s just the Panthers being cautious due to the short break between games.
