The Panthers have released their Friday injury report, and a few players have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
Cole Luke and Jared Norris are both out for Sunday’s game, and Vernon Butler is listed as doubtful. The Panthers will probably play it safe with Butler, especially if Kyle Love is able to suit up (he’s listed as questionable). There’s no need to risk further injury to Butler in Week 1.
Cam Newton, Curtis Samuel and Daeshon Hall are all listed as questionable, but are expected to play.
