They responded to their situation by taking control of the Cardinals in the second half and dominating the final two quarters en route to a 38-20 win to improve their record to 1-2 on the young season.
Backup quarterback Kyle Allen was, in one word, incredible. He was 19-of-26 with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. He showed poise in the pocket. He limited mistakes. He was everything the Panthers hoped he could be, and more.
