Our final review of last week’s poor quarterback outing against the Buffalo Bills was that none of it really mattered since the whole season was riding on Cam Newton’s health any way. Of course, at the time, we all thought that meant Newton’s shoulder health. All of Panthers nation is now holding its collective breath waiting for definitive news on his foot and/or ankle. Newton limped away from the Patriots game last night following his second sack in eight drop backs. It was, to say the least, an inauspicious start to Newton’s, and the Panthers, 2019 season.
