We’re only three days away from the start of the Panthers’ 2021 season, so today’s countdown piece will be dedicated to the player on the roster currently wearing No. 3 — punter Joseph Charlton.
The Panthers signed the 24-year-old Charlton (6-5, 190) as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. He played college football at South Carolina, where he owns the school record for career punting average (45.5 yards) as well as the top two single-season punting records.
