The Carolina Panthers lost a heart breaker on the road to the Green Bay Packers yesterday in a 24-16 game that had excitement to the very end of regulation. Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey was stopped just short of the goal line as time expired on a potential game-tying touchdown that would have sent the game into overtime if the Panthers would have successfully made a 2-point conversion afterward, but instead the Panthers returned home with a 5-4 record and a big bag of what ifs.
But a loss doesn’t mean that everything was terrible from yesterday’s game.
