The Panthers came into this game with the Dolphins needing to pick up a win to improve their record to 6-6 on the year and stay firmly in the mix for a wild card spot in the NFC. In what has become Carolina Panthers tradition, they did the exact opposite of what they needed to do, opting instead to play some of the worst football they’ve played all season long in an embarrassing loss on the road that dropped their record to 5-7 and all but took them out of the race for a playoff spot.
