It is officially that time of the week: NFL Power Rankings. The Carolina Panthers received tempered praise from NFL media following its week 1 win against the New York Jets.
And while some writers still went a little rough on Carolina - particularly NBC Sports, which labelled Panthers coach Matt Rhule a “coward” - it was generally positive reviews.
