According to a tweet from ESPN’s Field Yates, the Carolina Panthers have signed former New York Giants cornerback Ross Cockrell to a two-year contract worth $6.8 million. Reign Sports Management, which appears to be Cockrell’s agency, was the first to break the news.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is also tweeting the same information.

Cockrell has been in the NFL since 2014 and has spent time with the Bills (2014), Steelers (2015-2016) and Giants (2017).
