Last year Carolina rolled over everybody they faced in the division (and the entire NFL, up until the Super Bowl). Their only regular season loss came against the Atlanta Falcons Week 16. If not for that one blemish, the Panthers would have gone undefeated and broken a record that has stood for over 40 years.
But Carolina’s NFC South rivals came out on top, and so a chance at making history was denied.
If it’s any consolation, Atlanta pretty much totally blew last week’s NFL Draft. After reviewing their picks and accounting for their situation, we are giving them a very low grade.
