Well, that happened.
It was another week, another dumpster fire for the Panthers. Only this time the experience of watching the Panthers look like garbage came with the added pain of knowing it was a divisional game against a hated rival.
For the majority of yesterday’s game the Panthers looked like they didn’t even belong on the same field as the Falcons, as Matt Ryan and Julio Jones torched the Panthers defense for eleventy billion yards of total offense and a 34-10 lead. In the fourth quarter the Panthers mounted a valiant comeback effort to pull within one score, but a late Derek Anderson pick six sealed victory for Atlanta and sent the Panthers to a 1-3 record and last place in the NFC South.
