CHARLOTTE – Right tackle Mike Remmers has signed his restricted free agent tender and is now under contract for the 2016 season.
"I’m just so thankful, and I’m so happy to be here," Remmers said. "I love Charlotte, I love the organization. It’s a perfect fit for me."
Remmers took over as the Panthers' starting right tackle with five games remaining in the 2014 regular season and has been the starter for all 21 regular season games and all five postseason games since. The Panthers are 22-4 in those games.
Last year, he was part of an offense that scored the most points in the league.
