Charlotte, N.C. — Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Michael Oher was in Charlotte Tuesday morning on the first day of the team’s mandatory minicamp, but he was not an on-field participant.
According to the team’s official website, Oher, who has been dealing with concussion symptoms since September, is scheduled to meet with doctors this week in Charlotte.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera told reporters on Tuesday that he hadn't spoken with Oher but confirmed that he was in Charlotte.
Oher missed 13 games last season after being placed in concussion protocol following Carolina’s Week 3 loss to Minnesota.
