Earlier today, Kawann Short and Shaq Thompson hopped on Zoom for some media availability. Short partially tore his rotator cuff in Week 2 of the 2019 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He landed on Injured Reserve a few short weeks later after having surgery to repair the damage. That injury was a topic of conversation at the virtual press conference, as expected. Luckily, according to Bill Voth, Short said “I feel good . . . the shoulder repair was an awesome success.”
We may see a more trim Kawann Short this season as well, as the star DT noted that he spent plenty of time working out outside in the heat.
