Julius Peppers is retiring from football after 17 years in the NFL. He doesn’t really need an introduction here. Between his years at UNC and his two stints with the Panthers, Peppers has been a sports legend in the Carolinas for longer than a lot of Panthers fans have been alive.
Seventeen years is a long time to be playing this game. It’s two careers for a lot of people. I’m thankful that I have been able to play so long and still be healthy. I’m not all banged up and beaten down.
