The Carolina Panthers have started their roster mechanics for the week. So far, they have placed guard John Miller on injured reserve with the ankle sprain he suffered against the Giants and released punter Ryan Winslow and kicker Dominik Eberle (from the practice squad).

Starting with the simplest first, Winslow simply wasn’t good enough and kept the Panthers in poor field position every time he had the opportunity to punt.
