Hey don't blame me for this premature question as I'm way too cynical only 5 games in to the season. This is actually coming from Pete Priscoe.
I don't consider Priscoe a Panther Homer by any stretch.
Dare I say that Cam Newton is in the MVP talk? The Panthers are 5-0, atop the NFC South, and Newton is carrying them on his back. He doesn't have the gaudy numbers of some passers, but he is certainly in the conversation in my book. It takes magical moments to win that award, some that stand out above the rest.
