CHARLOTTE – Amini Silatolu is set to start Sunday in the right guard spot usually occupied by Trai Turner.
Turner is in the concussion protocol and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers. Linebacker Shaq Thompson (foot) will miss his second consecutive game.
Guard/center Tyler Larsen (foot) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable, but head coach Ron Rivera thinks Larsen will be available to back up Silatolu.
"Amini has practiced very well, plus he has started for us at that position so he knows the guard position," Rivera said.
