How many compensatory picks are the Panthers projected to receive in the 2022 NFL Draft?

The Carolina Panthers are projected to receive zero compensatory draft picks in the upcoming 2022 NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting (better known as the NFL Draft). This information comes courtesy of the fine actuarial minds at OverTheCap.com

The Panthers are getting no picks because they went on an extensive, if sensible, spending spree in free agency this year. Compensatory picks are awarded for teams losing more value in free agency than they are able to acquire as judged by the qualified free agents they either let walk or sign on.

This year, the only qualified free agents the Panthers have lost are wide receiver Curtis Samuel, running back Mike Davis, and tight end Christ Manhertz.
