Greg Olsen, Derek Anderson have a winning chemistry

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen knew the answer before the question was completed.

"Eighteen balls, two games," the two-time Pro Bowl selection said with a grin. "I'll take that."

Olsen was referring to the number of catches he had in the two games that backup quarterback Derek Anderson started against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014.

While Olsen can't recite his stats for every game during his 10-year NFL career, these came to mind quickly as Anderson looks more likely to start Monday night against the Buccaneers since the Panthers' starter, NFL MVP Cam Newton, is still in the concussion protocol.
