CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers remain undefeated, but it didn’t come easy.
It was downright sloppy.
In the end it took a 52-yard field goal by Graham Gano in overtime to erase dropped passes, dropped interceptions and overall play that was as bad as the weather in the 29-26 victory over Indianapolis.
Even the sure-footed Gano contributed to the sloppy play, missing an extra point in regulation.
But in the end the Panthers found a way to improve to 7-0 with their 11th straight regular-season victory.
Arguably the most resilient team in the NFL showed its resiliency in this one.
