SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Ask Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula a question and you pretty much know the answer that is coming.
He’s predictable.
But Shula’s offense was anything but last season, a big reason the Panthers led the league in scoring with 31.2 points per game during the regular season and 30.0 during the playoffs.
Shula’s goal in 2016 is to be even more unpredictable, understanding opponents have spent the offseason studying what he and NFL MVP Cam Newton did.
“You want to continue to do the things that have given you success and got us to the Super Bowl,’’ Shula said.
