CHARLOTTE – The Carolina Panthers lost a 17-point lead over the final seven-plus minutes and fell behind in overtime, only to rally to a 29-26 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.
After Adam Vinatieri for the Colts and Graham Gano of the Panthers traded field goals of 50 and 42 yards, the Panthers won it when linebacker Luke Kuechly intercepted a pass tipped up by safety Roman Harper to set up Gano for the game-winner from 52 yards with 5:22 left in overtime.
Carolina, now off to a franchise-first start of 7-0, is the lone unbeaten remaining in the NFC.
