Cam Newton has used his free time well by adding another string to his ever-increasing bow away from the NFL. The former Carolina Panthers quarterback has been filming a television series for a new network in an executive producer role.
The 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player has played a leading role for “Iron Sharpens Iron”, which is set debut on Quibi next Monday (April 20).
Newton has enlisted the help of some big sporting stars to get his new show off the ground. Rising NBA sensation Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks will appear in an episode, as will new Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon.
