1. Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi:
Treadwell has been my top receiver since the spring, but his stats have paled in comparison to two duo from the Big-12. Critics may point to inconsistent hands, a lack of top-end speed, or that many of his catches come near the line of scrimmage, but he showed improved concentration, and yards-after-catch skills the past two weeks, important wins over Texas A&M and Auburn.
2. Desmond King, CB, Iowa:
Against Maryland, King took an interception back for a 88-yard touchdown. While I only saw the highlight, I mention King, because last week I finally got around to watching the Wisconsin-Iowa game.
