D.J. Moore turns short route into long touchdown for Panthers

DJ Moore has played second-fiddle to Robby Anderson for much of the season in terms of being the No. 1 receiver for the Carolina Panthers, but he took back the spotlight for a key moment in the second quarter on Sunday.

The third-year player out of Maryland made a nifty spin move that left Atlanta Falcons cornerback Isaiah Simmons grabbing for air and turned it into a 57-yard touchdown catch and run.

The score gave Carolina, seeking to go above .500 for the first time since Week 10 last season, a 13-7 lead in the Georgia Dome with about two and a half minutes left in the first half.
