It seemed like a good time to change things up a bit, so I give you the free agent acquisition budget waiver wire system. I admit I’ve never used this system but here’s what I could dig up on it. We are going to try this for a season and see how it goes. If it sucks we can ditch it for next season.

What is FAAB? It stands for free-agent acquisition budget, a stash of imaginary cash that every team in your league is given to do free-agent auction bidding. Here’s how it works:

Under FAAB, all waiver-wire moves are processed in batches, one or more times a week, depending on how frequently your league wants free agents to be claimed.
