David Tepper reportedly met with Panthers players to discuss the anthem policy

David Tepper reportedly left the owner’s meeting in Atlanta on Wednesday to meet with Carolina Panthers’ players in Charlotte to discuss the League’s recently announced national anthem policy. Neither Tepper, the Panthers, nor any of the Panthers’ players have spoken publicly about this meeting yet.

I'm told David Tepper left owners meeting yesterday in Atlanta and flew to Charlotte to meet with Panthers team captains and leaders. He wanted to talk to players about the NFL's decision on national anthem policy. Source said there was good dialogue & discussion within group.

We don’t know enough about Tepper just yet to judge what kind of an owner he will be.
