David Tepper has furloughed or laid off an additional 20 employees

Tepper Sports and Entertainment, the company that David Tepper uses to manage assets including the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC has laid off or furloughed 20 employees until January 31st, 2021. Following ten employees in June, this makes 30 people the company has let go during the pandemic. The lay offs were first reported by the Charlotte Observer’s Alaina Getzenberg.

Tepper Sports and Entertainment has made changes, reducing the staff by about 20 employees. The majority was furloughs that extend to January, but around three staffers were laid off. The moves extend across a variety of departments in the organization.
