David Tepper has designated May 1 as inaugural Keep Pounding Day

Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper has announced a new initiative- Keep Pounding Day, per Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer.

Panthers owner Dave Tepper has designated May 1 as Keep Pounding Day, a day of service in which the team will execute 25 service projects in NC/SC.
Tepper: "May 1 was selected for the inaugural effort because No.51 was the jersey of former Panthers player and coach Sam Mills.”— Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) April 26, 2019

This is awesome for a number of reasons. The date was chosen to honor Sam Mills, who is responsible for making ‘Keep Pounding’ the mantra of the Carolina Panthers while also embodying its message.
