It doesn’t happen every year, but more years than not the top fantasy pick disappoints. It’s like being picked at the top is a curse in some sense. I hate having the top pick in a fantasy draft for this very reason. If the pick does disappoint on the season, it really hurts. 2020 is one of those years for those that took Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey with the top pick.
Earlier in the week I had this headline already written, but before I could finish the piece C-Mac suffered a brand new injury that has him missing yet another game:
“McCaffrey returns just in time for the fantasy football playoffs”
McCaffrey has only played in three of 12 Panthers games this season.
