The Carolina Panthers defense has faced a murderer’s row of offenses since their bye week. The New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers have top tier offenses. The San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons aren’t quite at that level, but both do things that exploit weaknesses that the Panthers refuse to adjust to.
This week’s opponent has neither of those things going for them. Washington sports the league’s worst offense according to Football Outsiders’ DVOA. Both phases of the offense are bad—the pass offense ranks 32nd and the rush offense ranks 30th.
