The Carolina Panthers second half collapse continued last week with a home loss to the now, NFC leading Seattle Seahawks. Three more interceptions and a fumble from backup quarterback Kyle Allen also has interim coach Perry Fewell turning to rookie Will Grier for the final two games of regular season play in hopes of stopping a six game losing streak.
Grier will get an Indianapolis Colts team in a somewhat similar situation. After the surprise retirement of quarterback Andrew Luck back in August, the Colts turned to backup Jacoby Brissett and found themselves 5-3 at the midpoint, same as the Panthers.
