The Carolina Panthers bounced back from a crushing defeat in San Francisco with an impressive home victory last week over the Tennessee Titans. The win keeps Carolina in playoff contention as they prepare to face the NFC North leading Green Bay Packers on the road this Sunday.
They’ll continue to do so with quarterback Kyle Allen taking over responsibility as the full-time starter after Cam Newton was moved to the injured reserve list this week. After having his injury and progress evaluated by two medical specialist, a timely return was ruled out for Newton and his future, unfortunately, remains unclear at this point.
